We at Wyrde Thyngs Inc. are dedicated to serving
our customers to the best of our abilities. We strive for accuracy and speed
in replying to inquiries and filling orders. To this end we have several
policies in place to ensure customer satisfaction and monetary protection
for both parties.
Contact Policy
We have set up an auto-respond message with the freydis@wyrdethyngs.com
address to let you know your message has been received. It also tells you Wyrde Thyngs Inc. will get back to you within 24 hours of receipt. When we go on trips this is, of course, changed to an auto-respond message that tells you that we will respond to your inquiries as soon as we get to them when we are back!
Order Policy
E-mail orders are confirmed via e-mail, phone or both if given. This is to ensure that no bogus orders are placed in some-one else's name. It is also to confirm the accuracy of the order and to arrange the payment method.
Once an order is received and payment method is in place, then the order is put into action. We will let you know when your order is started, part way finished and on completion. For custom and larger items such as the pavilions we will also sent pictures via e-mail of your product in production.
When your order is completed, the shipping information is finally confirmed to ensure it goes to where it is supposed to go! We also finish off any final payment arrangements at this time.
After shipping Wyrde Thyngs Inc. will contact you to ensure your product arrived satisfactorily and that all is in order.
Payment Policies
Wyrde Thyngs Inc. requires that payment in full or a deposit be paid before the project goes into production. The deposit is generally at least one half of the price before taxes. One half of the deposit (one quarter of the price before taxes) is a non-refundable restocking fee. If an order is cancelled after it has been confirmed, paid for and started then all but the restocking fee will be refunded.
Wyrde Thyngs Inc. is able to accept certified cheques, money orders and soon, VISA and MC. Cash is not to be sent via the regular mail services. Orders on personal cheques will be started only after they clear the bank and a $25.00 NSF fee will be charged if this happens.
Product Warranties
We are proud of the quality and workmanship of the products we produce at Wyrde Thyngs Inc.
- Pavilions, Tents and Sunshades carry limited warranties on materials and workmanship for five years from time of receipt. These warranties exclude damage to the products due to neglect from such things as
dirt, mildew, fire or extreme weather.

Clothes, Costumes and Gambesons carry a limited warranty for materials and workmanship and are limited from the time of receipt to such time as they are laundered since we have no control over the method of
cleaning or drying.

Shoes carry a limited warranty for materials and workmanship for a period of one year.
- Wool Working Tools carry a warranty for materials and workmanship
for five years that excludes damage due to neglect.
